ISOs are uncompressed game files. They run smoothly and sometimes faster than CSO files. However, the downside is that they have larger file sizes. CSOs are compressed ISOs. Sometimes, they do not run as smooth as ISOs. Moreover, they might be slower on a lower CPU speed. The good part is that CSO files reduce a lot of file space. As a result, when running CSO files, be sure to change the CPU speed to 333mHz for the best results. Most of my PSP game uploads are in CSO format to reduce your download time. If you prefer ISO, you can convert them yourself!
